Five Life Care Centers of America facilities in the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area, supported Erlanger Hospital’s Children’s Classic golf tournament on Aug. 22, 2016.
Life Care sponsored a team for the fundraiser competition, which took place at The Farm in Rocky Face, Georgia. As a team, the skilled nursing and rehab company contributed $2,000 toward Erlanger’s new Children’s Hospital. The tournament raised $220,000 for the new building.
Four players and three other volunteers for various needs at the event represented Life Care’s locations in Collegedale, Ooltewah, Cleveland, Athens, Red Bank, Lynchburg and the company’s corporate offices in Cleveland (all in Tennessee).
“We were proud to be able to contribute to this cause for the future of our community, and for our children,” said Jeremy Gravell, executive director at Life Care Center of Cleveland and one of the golfers.
“We couldn’t have asked for a prettier day, a better cause or a more special venue,” added Diane Tryon, director of rehab services at Life Care Center of Athens, who also played on the team. “I had a great day!”
